Description
This antibiotic combines Amoxicillin, a penicillin-type antibiotic, with Clavulanate Potassium, a beta-lactamase inhibitor, to treat a wide range of bacterial infections. It is effective against upper and lower respiratory tract infections, genito-urinary tract infections, and skin or soft tissue infections. Typically taken orally at the start of a meal to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort, common side effects may include diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting. Also known as co-amoxiclav, it should be used under medical supervision to ensure proper dosage and effectiveness.
